Create transparent field in form

I am creating a form and I want to create a field which has a transparent background. Is there a way to achieve this?

  Hello Debra, 

  Thank you for reaching out to check how you can make a text field with a transparent background. I will be glad to help you with that. 

  Once you insert your form field right click on it and select the Properties option.

  It will open a new window on the right side of your PDF Suite program. Select the Appearance tab and click on the Background Color option. 
  

  It will show you the range of colors you might use for your form's background. The last option in the Basic color selection will be transparent. It looks like a crossed rectangle and is located before the dropper tool. Select it to have a transparent background.

  Thank you for your answer!! I never realised that was a crossed box. I thought it was to select a red colour. Any reason why that isn't easier to identify?
